He was born July 5, 1928, in Aurora, Ill., son of Fredrick Carlton and Alice Marie Irish Reiseck.Richard graduated in 1946 from Waterloo West High School and went to work as a pattern maker at John Deere and retired after 40 years.Survived by: two daughters, Lynn Reiseck of Des Moines and Cathy Reiseck of Waterloo; two sons, Douglas (Donna) and David (Wendy), both of Waterloo; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren of Iowa and Indiana.Preceded in death by: a sister, Yvonne Jensen; and a brother, Roger.Private graveside services: will be held in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Arrangements by Locke Funeral Home.His hobbies included wood carving, bowling, and he was a devoted animal lover. Richard had a wonderful smile that could light up a whole room.

He was born May 3, 1925, in Aurelia, son of Leonard and Minnie Adler. He married Marion “Betty” Foster on June 25, 1950, at Linden Methodist Church in Waterloo; she preceded him in death Jan. 25, 2003.Kirby graduated from high school in Marcus. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1943-46. He worked on the kill line at Rath Packing Co. for more than 30 years, retiring in 1979. After retirement, he caught and sold night crawlers and also sold Precious Moments.Survived by: a daughter, Peggy (Kyle) McLaughlin of Clear Lake; three grandchildren, Nikki (Chris) Krambeer of Boone, Kory McLaughlin and McKenzie McLaughlin, both of Clear Lake; and two great-grandchildren, Shaylee Steffen and Nevaeh Krambeer.Preceded in death by: eight siblings, Jack, Vivian, Garland, A.C., Linvel Adler, Alberta Ross, Riva and Opal Lochte.Services: 1 p.m. Friday, July 28, at Garden View Chapel, with burial at Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation will be for an hour before services on Friday at Garden View.Memorials: may be directed to the family.Kirby enjoyed singing, flower gardening, Iowa Hawkeyes basketball and the St. Louis Cardinals.
